A grandson of Israel’s legendary right-wing prime minister Menachem Begin is a regular protester against the country’s controversial West Bank separation barrier, media reported on Thursday.
The tabloid-style Maariv newspaper published a photograph of 32-year-old Avinadav Begin and a young Palestinian facing off with Israeli soldiers in riot gear during a weekly demonstration against the barrier.
Maariv quoted liberally from websites in which the young Begin declared his desire to “blow up this wall.”
“This (barrier) will not help bring peace between Israel and Palestine because none of that exists,” the young Begin reportedly wrote.

I’m not a zionist. But I do have an opinion on this matter.
That wall was never designed to create peace.
It was built to stop suicide attacks. Mind you, at least one suicide attack happened in Israel despite the wall, so nothing is perfect.
The funny thing is (no, it’s not funny at all actually) is that Palestiniens have negociated a ceasefire amongst themselves since the wall went up. Saudi Arabia assembled all parties and an agreement was made. But then we started seeing Palestiniens fighting each other. Why they’re fighting each other, I’m not sure. HAMAS and Fatah are fighting each other, Al Qaeda is getting pounded in Lebanon.
Even the US Government decided to send guns for Fatah in the hopes of creating a security force that can keep the peace inside Palestine.

{Thousands of M-16 assault rifles, made in the U.S., were delivered to Fatah forces in Judea and Samaria as part of the effort to strengthen Abbas in his opposition to Hamas leader and PA Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh.
Fatah is the political party headed by the late terrorist chieftain Yasser Arafat. The Al-Aksa Brigades terror group operates under its authority.}
So the “Jimmy Carter Way” isn’t working, why not try the “George Bush Way”?
Those to accept Syrian and Iranian weapons won’t be stopped with kind words. That spells disaster for the moderate muslims in the area.

Red Collar,
You might want to update some of your facts, AND clarify them.
Yasser Arafat is dead. Mahmood Abbas is the leader of Fatah.
Try the George Bush way?
Oh that sounds like a GREAT idea
I’m sure that will work out just fine since it’s worked so well everywhere else, look at how successful the “George Bush way” has been in Iraq.
And I think you just might be surprised with this

Is all life equal and sacred Red Collar?
Is occupation and brute force your idea of creating peace?
Is corralling people with a WALL into ghetto’s a means to peace Red Collar?

Oh yeah, that’s the “George Bush”/neocon/Zionist way.
Sure has worked well so far!!
