We all Millions believe (including me) that Hamas is doing whatever it can to starve Palestinians… Fatah/Abbas doing the same in different means… and all the other lies Israel dishes out… “Warnings of terror alerts” it gets us every time… Israel closed one crossing on this totally BS basis, and if all remains quiet on the media front, will soon close the other. The media? hey, “don’t ask, don’t tell”… when was the last time any reporter or network said “we aren’t allowed in” we report what we’re told?”
Israel closed crossing used for humanitarian aid to Gaza
By Avi Issacharoff , Haaretz CorrespondentThe Kerem Shalom crossing that had been opened in the Gaza Strip in order to allow humanitarian assistance to flow into the Strip during the present internal conflict has been closed for two days.
The reason for the closure are attempts by militants to carry out attacks against the facilities at the crossing, including shootings and mortar attacks. Israel said it hoped goods could be transfered via other crossings.
A large explosive device was uncovered close to Kerem Shalom on Tuesday, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Sufa crossing operativeThe Sufa crossing is still functioning. However intelligence reports have warned that it is also a possible target for terrorist attacks and it is uncertain how much longer it will remain open for traffic.
Some 80 trucks of food supplies crossed through Sufa into Gaza yesterday, providing the Strip with much more than the minimum daily requirements.
The shipment also included 600,000 plants for use by farmers in greenhouses in the Gaza Strip.
Another crossing that has been closed down recently, and which is used for much of the Palestinian exports, is the Karni crossing.
In spite the closures, an Israeli security official expressed optimism yesterday by saying that “we will find a way of transferring goods even without the Karni crossing.”
During periods of calm, when the Karni crossing was open to the Palestinians, the flower export business flourished.

I vehemently disagree. What “we all” know is that Hamas was elected democratically, and the international community decided to boycott it, and THAT’S why the Palestinians are starving. We also know that Abbas and his cronies have been starving the Palestinians of their rights and their money for decades.
Regarding the border closures and lack of media attention, well, that’s what blogs are for!

Nothing wrong with my head, Gazan… but anyway, I changed the “we all” statement to “millions”, which obviously does not include you, but includes millions of Palestinians and non-Palestinians.
If you believe that Hamas wants to starve the Palestinians Haitham, why not join the zionist in ethnically clansing Hamas and those who elected them, namely most of the Palestinians??

We all know what Hamas was elected for and we all know what Hamas did the first day they got elected and the first thing they did when they toke over PA offices in Gaza. Look who is the looter in Gaza now:

I won’t feel sorry if Hamas disappear as a political force on ground, but that does not mean that killing civilians who support Hamas is an option, nor Fatah. I just feel sorry for the Palestinians who trusted this party and that one while both are worse than each other.
