The invasion of ‘Ein Beit Al Ma’ refugee camp by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continued on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 10:20 am when several jeeps returned to the main street of Nablus and entered the camp. International human rights activists present created a human roadblock on the main thoroughfare of the camp to stop any other jeeps from entering the camp and continuing their siege on the camp’s inhabitants. Three internationals were shot with rubber bullets during the blockade. They were just three of the several victims of the IOF’s aggressive and excessive use of force that morning, on what could have otherwise been a quiet, peaceful and sunny Friday holiday. I used to be upset by the atrocities by the Nazies on the Jews.
Now I find that these same atrocities are inflicted on the Palestinians.
“We are the persecuted race” will only protect you if you are still persecuted.
You are now persecuting the Palestinians.
I am now starting to believe that your God is wrong.
Humanity is more important than your God, because you now don’t believe in your God but in the stealing of land in the name of your god.
You do not wan’t to talk about the actual acceptance of the Palestinians.
Your God tells you to steal land and kill people (”freedom fighters”) in your quest for stolen lands.
The Palestinians are a people who deserve their own lands.
What you mean is they deserve some of their own land back, Kimmy. Then they should never have had their land taken from them in the first place.
If Jewish folk wanted to live in Palestine after WW2, they could’ve just moved there.
You are right DANIEL except for one thing.
They should never have used violence to take the land. This caused the mess now known as the Middle East.
If the Israelis had used peaceful methods in their settlements back in 1948 we wouldn’t be in the mess that we are in worldwide now.
Kimmy, peace in this arms-filled world is a forlorn dream. And those who make money from arms and war and those who seek vast political power will ensure that war continues forever.
Israel is just a microcosm of the larger world!
