In Israel, it is the army that rules. Couple of days ago, the Israeli “Defense” Forces, apparently defending themselves from the boredom of Hamas trying to survive, invaded Gaza again, with tanks, killed a few “terrorists”, a few innocent by standers, whatever… it doesn’t matter because it just isn’t news, and NEWS, is the only thing Israel fears. Even the Guardian explained the attack as “an offensive against suspected militants” - although 2 civilians were killed and 15 civilians were wounded.

Euro News TV had some footage, the others were mum.. The so called anti war blogs - Buzzflash, Arianna, Raw Story - are only anti war when it comes to Iraq. On Israel, they are Likud. Most of the reports were in the Middle East and in Europe. America continues to be “don’t ask, don’t tell”, just the way Israel likes it.

Four killed in Israeli raid on Gaza

Four Palestinians were killed when Israeli troops and aircraft launched an offensive against suspected militants in Gaza today.
Two Hamas fighters and two civilians died, while 15 people - including seven civilians - were injured, Palestinian medical officials said.
