I am not pro anybody, and believe that both sides suffered way too much already. Especially Palestinians.

If Olmert talks to Hamas, as long as Hamas's constitution swears to the destruction of Israel, WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS AN OUTCOME? I mean, we must be reasonable about this. Neither Hamas leaders, nor Israeli leaders are stupid.

No one in their right mind, no one smart, can expect anything meaningful to come out from such a meeting until such a hostile statement is removed from the Hamas, HezbAllah, etc, Charters and something more reasonable is substituted, like "An independent state for the Palestinians to be established".

    Vic,

Even Zionist don't believe in anything but the destruction of Palestinian and in their (Zionist) superiority over all mankind, so why should anyone talk to them?

Further, peace is done between enemies, not friends. So, if Zionist ever dreams of having a lasting peace, ultimately they should talk to Hamas and everyone, specially that we all know that Hamas is not a 'zero on the left'!
