I believe all people have the right to practise whatever beliefs they like. But my big problem is when those beliefs include practises which inflict horrendous pain and permanent damage to chldren. Circumcision in the western world is also barbaric especially for religious reasons only! Of course there are times when this particular procedure for boys is actually needed and I accept this....BUT circumcising young girls purely in the belief that having no sexual sensation in this area will benefit them is shocking. If men of these cultures could start to realise that the majority of women are monogogamous and do not throw themselves upon the opposite sex purely because they still have their clitoris intact the better off these beautiful young girls...and their eventual husbands will be. Most religions have a lot to answer for in my belief....please respect my opinion as I have respected yours. Thankyou for the opportunity to even have a say.
