World Most Luxuries Prison

No, not in Arabian Land, not in America. Not Guantanamo and NOT Abu Gharib for sure!

When you think of a prison, the first thing comes to your mind is stoned walls and a huge gate with armed watch towers. That's not the case in Leoben Justice Centre, Steiermark, Austria. In fact here you can find the world's best looking prison, which houses a complex of courts, offices of Judges, and prison.

Unlike prisons we see in movies and documentaries, this one looks to be better than dorms of many universities, at least mine :-)

So, if you are thinking to have a criminal record soon, wait until you visit Austria!

The question is: Would such a luxury prison turn out to be encouraging to committing a crime? And would the people inside the prison be leading a better life in there than outside?

Anyway, I guess only the worse of worst guys get to stay here, so you are probably better off committing crimes when you are in Austria.

Now tell us about prisons in YOUR country.

If I could live there I would commit a crime.
Better than where I live!

My country (Israel) boasts the biggest prison in the world. It’s called Palestine. Inmates are often allowed to live in natural surroundings, sometimes even in homes that their ancestors have lived in for decades… until of course those homes are demolished…

The prisoners must be constantly reminded that they are not in control of the situation… the flow of electricity, water and other essential services are often cut off as to provide a feeling of despair and hopelessness.

The theory seems to be that prisoners, even those that are innocent, must be punished… this way they rebel eventually giving cause to the occupier to cry fowl and eliminate them, hundreds at a time.

Can anyone beat this prison?
Photos available throughout the Web…. just Google ‘Israeli Atrocities’.

No body can match Palestine as a prison.

desertpeace,
I am sorry for your suffering.
Until Bush is removed and also Olmert, nothing will change.
It is sad when Islam and the Jewish religion are so much the same and they are treated so much different in the name of their own Gods.
Something has to give!
Let us hope that it is not lives!

The proper name for these houses is “One of world Most Luxuries Mansion.” NOT “World Most Luxuries Prison.” I wonder how many free people even in the richest countries of this world can afford to live in these types of houses!
