Mauritania has held the Best fair and transparent Elections recently in the Arab world , and their Opposition is a real one that is troubling the government , asking too many questions and wanting real reforms . they are doing great . yet dirt poor . the People recently had a huge meeting demanding if the gov listens to its citizens who voted for it , they must cut their relations with israel. they said do a survey and ask how many people do not want the israeli embassy on our soil UNTIL the Palestinians are free and are treated like Human beings .

Human rights and press freedom are and have been abused for far too long in the Arab world but America and britain still do business and call the dictators friends and allies . shame on the dictators .

I read a story of someone who was thrown from a balcony by the police (said his wife ) and others dying in Police custody , and life goes on for Mubarak the butcher.
there is something that bothered me about Kareem , I heard that He insulted Islam . I m not sure if it is true , i have not read his article in Arabic to judge but that s what i have heard .

Normally if he criticizes the Islamists (who are more persecuted in egypt than anyone else ) that should be great for Mubarak right ? and Mubarak should have honored his articles . im still confused what he really said .
