The Madison Ave jewelry store LEVIEV NY was again the site of protests by human rights activists.

In a loud, festive protest this evening, 40 New Yorkers chanted, danced Palestinian Dabka and performed street theater. Protesters were faced by a cordon of police officer who leaned against the LEVIEV store windows, blocking any view of the expensive jewelry in the showcase. No customers entered the store during the hour and a half protest…Read on!

    U.S population 300,000,000
    Protesters: 40

Number of refugee camps in the U.S.: ZERO
Refugee camps are kept in place by Muslims in the Middle East. Shame on those governments who disenfranchise Palestinians.

    US population 300,000,000

Number of refugee camps in the U.S.: Zero
Number of Iraqi refugees: Four million, two million external, two million internal.

Number of Iraqis allowed to immigrate to the U.S. since the ILLEGAL invasion and occupation of Iraq:

From April 2003 to April 2007, fewer than 500 Iraqis were allowed into the U.S. as refugees. (To put this number in perspective, between May and December 1975, 131,000 South Vietnamese political refugees arrived in the U.S.)

Then nothing much happened. In March, eight Iraqi refugees were admitted; in April, one; in May, one; in June, 63; in July, 57. The outrage on editorial pages and among advocacy groups was reinforced by letters from U.S. military personnel whose endangered translators and local staff were denied entry. Congressional hearings were held, and legislation was proposed. Still, from October 2006 through the end of August, only 719 Iraqi refugees had been admitted to the U.S.

Of those admitted to the U.S. on refugee status, ALL have been granted status on basis of having worked with the U.S.

Number of Iraqi refugees in Syria: 1.2 million
Number of Iraqi refugees in Jordan: 800,000

    Sweden has accepted over 9,000

Who caused this problem in Iraq again? Who caused the Palestinian refugee problem and has REFUSED to abide by INTERNATIONAL law allowing them to return to their homes?
