I would probably change that “some Arabs” to “minority of the Arabs” since most of us are not leaders in GCC countries :-).

    hehehe :-D

believe it or not, some people in the GCC are starving too. its ridiculous.

  • 10 December, 2007, 15:02

Disgusting!!! And most probably 99% of this food is thrown away by the end of the day!!!!

  • 10 December, 2007, 16:19

    Oh my God!

I wish we can let a bunch of monkeys loose in that room, just to see what they’d do. That would amuse me.

Actually, now I feel bad. I’d rather let kids from the Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon loose in that room. Imagine - kids out there are dying from malnutrition diseases like scurvy, and yet there’s all this fruit on hand.

    Life sucks.

Saudi Arabia is expected to have a surplus of SAR100,000,000,000.-
I would just like to imagine what such an amount is capable of doing to Saudi itself and the Arab World… It would at least cover up most what can be solved with money, to start focusing on what beyond finance bottle necks to recap and rise up as a nation..
    AAAKKKHHH, ya wanati wanet gahar..

Honestly, I’d have such a guilty conscience if I was presented with all that food. They’d better not be throwing the leftovers away..

Please don’t blame the Arabs for this.
They have learned this from the West.
We have the money and we can enjoy it.
    Money begats power.
Power means we can do anything.
There is no waste with money.
    Only surplus not needed.
Waste is money lost on the Dow Jones market.
The plight of the Palestinians is not on their radar.
These people wont make money on the plight of the Palestinians, so they wont care.
Money is more important to them.
They are no better than the US.
Bush supports them.Kiss kiss, sell me more oil.
If Islam and Christians hate gay people, why are they still together?
    Sorry, simple question.

I guess what baffles me about the Islamic world, is that they say there is but One God, and that they worship him, yet put money into a system that has a clear symbol of the Bull god. What would set them, Christians or Jewish people apart if they all pay homage to the bull market? Who is increasing the wealth…God or the bull god? Each country has precious resources, and I see them lavished on the bull rather than being rich toward God by taking care of His creation. If there are any muslims on the board, can you tell me if you have noticed this? The same question for the other two faiths.

    I agree with you , a 100% .
many of those fatsos buy their tenth palace, and their 20th Posh and other fancy cars, and yatchs and more designer jewerlry , etc..why so many kids starve to death in Gaza .

My grandmother was explaining to me that millions of sheep gets buried after the Eid of sacrifice in saudi , i wish those sheep were sent to Gaza to put a smile on the faces of many families .

It’s a battle between RICH/POOR is what I see in the world , all over.
More money gets wasted on meetings, reports and trying to find solutions to help poor people, why not just go help them directly.

Instead racism, hate, religious wars, and a bunch of other stuff is created to draw peoples attention away from the gap of the Rich & Poor.
Makes me sick how people in this world can have millions and there are people starving in this world.

it’s a shame that in the end the poor people suffer like the people in Gaza, and else where around the world.

    Rich/Poor
People in power/Those not in power.
    It is all the same.
The average person has lost control of their lives.
The rich/ those in power want to keep it.
Everyone suffers as they control more power/money.
