Y.Ariel,

A little poem off the Internet. Not everyone that lives in Israel agrees with how they are treating Palestinians.

Good start, but disagreement is not enough. I'm not sure what you do to express this disagreement, but I'm sure you can do a lot. I know many Israelis who practice this disagreement in different forms. e.g. as a blogger (one of the best from the Israeli blogsphere) like Steve of http://desertpeace.wordpress.com/ or Neta Golan, a famous Israeli activist against occupation.

Anyway, thanks for sharing the above and I wish I can see you more active in your 'disagreement'.

A little poem off the internet. Not everyone that lives in Israel agrees with how they are treating Palestinians.

I am Israel

I am Israel of long ago, or so the story goes.
It’s in my heart, it’s in my blood
from Eden through the Flood.
I am Israel, can’t you see
It’s written every where
it’s in the books, it’s in the songs
It’s in the Jubilee!
I am Israel, can’t you feel
Come closer and you’ll see
I’ll steal from you, and lie to you until I feel I’m free.
I am Israel, can’t you tell
I gave myself to you
With lustful eyes and untamed heart
You fondled me, I you
I am Israel
now look away in shame and doubt and fear
My horror’s just beginning
 my Husband does draw near!
I am Israel, now don’t you tell
Of pleasures and delight.
My killing sprees, loud cries and plea’s
Each day and through the night.
I am Israel, what’s this I feel?
A grope, a piercing thrust
Pushing ever deeper
A child conceived in lust
I am Israel, what’s this I see?
My womb it fills with blood.
A kicking and a wrestling
I wallow in the mud
I am Israel, hear my screams
Of pain and tears and fright
Sixty years of Labor now
I push, I squeal, I fight
I am Israel, what can I say
with whoredom’s on display
My heart is faint, and I am weak
I push for one more day.
I am Israel, what shall I fear
I’m Queen, I’m Vain, I’m Queer
My heart is stone, old and alone
the birth will soon be here

What you are doing is great, Kathleen. Thank you!

Palestinians needs few million Americans like you to raise their voices and the conflict will be solved for good. But where are these 'few' millions?

I gave $50 to KinderUSA.org in December who helps people in Gaza particularly children.I gave $50 to "free Gaza" in 1007 I wear a peace dove from Bethlehem every day and have been wearing "free Gaza" bracelet and the Palestinian flag.
I called the White House again today to ask that US do something now to save the people of Gaza.
I called LA Times editorial dept today ask them to do a serious story about this crime against the innocent families in Gaza.
Just now I e-mailed the Israeli consulate and wrote this:
Please ask your government to stop the imprisonment and starving of the children and their families in Gaza. Think of the Warsaw ghetto and never again. Jews cannot be complicit in this death sentence.
