Burning a 700 year-old monument…

I came across this on Sabbah’s blog. A 700 year-old mosque near Bethlehem was torched by a group of Israeli settlers. Unfortunately, the media turned its face on this. You can read more about this at Sabbah’s blog post, and at the source.

It won’t be reported in the West because Israel is good and Muslims are bad.
The news is subtle regarding Muslims because of the upcoming elections.
The US is forgetting that the world doesn’t revolve around them.
All religions in this world are not centered around Christianity.
Both Islam and Christianity worship the same God. The God of Abraham.
Where am I wrong in the truth to follow God?
Where is the argument?
I think it is the problem of racism in the US.
They can’t blame blacks anymore so they have to blame Arabs.
They are the same colour of Mexicans.
As a lilly white Dane in Canada, I was ridiculed years ago because I looked like a Paki. (Sorry for the term.)
As long as I don’t remove my shirt or pants I am very dark in the summer.
Remove my shirt and put on shorts in the dark and my body will light up everything because of my whiteness.
Bottom line!
I judge people for who they are, not what they are.

How can this story not be reported by even Al Jazeera? Where’s the Associated Press now? Why isn’t the Palestinian administration up in arms over this attack? Especially now that the issue of settlements in the West Bank is hot as ever!
