This is just PR for the American Jews at home in the US. i.e. vote Republican, we love you.
The media... a bunch of water carriers for a bunch of wealthy newspaper and TV network owners... Writing crap like that instead of dealing with reality!! Freedom of the press is a joke when the press is owned and run by those who don't deal with the truth. And one of the worst offenders is the AP, whose international news almost everyone copies now, because it's so much cheaper than have a real journalist in place, and because Israel doesn't allow journalists freedom anyway, not that anyone bothers to mention that... don't ask, don't tell.
And blogs? Try to find something that deals with the reality of Israel on Buzzflash, Raw Story, Huffington, and many others - they simply sidestep... yes we are totally against war and for social justice... except when it comes to US, then we demand respect as the "chosen people". Truth? Zionists, thus racists.

You see all of these hollywood stars promoting the darfur conflict but none have an interest/ guts to promote palestine- fear being of labeled anti-semitic.
No matter how mnay petitions you sign, how mnay protests you march in- governments will turn a deaf ear to it, e.g. stop Iraq the war campaign. Government didnt care, as they are sitting behind their desks shouting out the orders while others pay the price. China could if it wished bring america’s economy to it’s knees- and then things could change.
Are all these comments legit?

Some progressive/leftist blogs have a double-standard concerning Palestine.
There are two well-known such blogs that blocked me from commenting after I posted pro-Palestinian, thus anti-zionist information. I check them from time to time and never see more than the most watered-down criticism of Israel, so I am probably not the only one. But in fact, they hardly ever mention Palestine.
I like this cartoon by Latuff. These are similar situations and the same kind of colonialism whose raison d’être is to stay and exterminate the other who is denied any humanity….I think Palestinian movements should make a specific bond to newly revived resistance movements among aboriginals in the Americas…
