Read and weep:

The evil decree - HaaretzThe scene shown Tuesday night on television was one of the most harsh and shameful seen here in recent times: a two-and-a-half-year-old boy, Ahmed Samut from Khan Yunis, and a nine-and-a-half-year-old girl, Sausan Jaafari, of Rafah, as they entered the Erez crossing alone, after being torn from the arms of their weeping parents.
The two children have heart conditions and need urgent surgery to save their lives. Wolfson Medical Center in Holon agreed to care for them, as part of their Save a Child's Heart program that saves the lives of children around the world.
The hospital is to be praised for the project. The editors at Channel 10 News and reporter Shlomi Eldar are also to be praised. Israel and its security establishment, however, deserve a mark of disgrace.
The parents of the two children, both fathers and mothers, were not permitted by the Israel Defense Forces' coordination and liaison administration to accompany their children to the fateful surgery. They are "denied entry" to Israel. The fact that Sausan's parents had accompanied her to previous operations at Wolfson did not change the evil decree. It is indeed a decree of unparalleled evil. Only the elderly uncle of one of the children was allowed to go with them.
The images of children walking alone on their way to the frightening surgery should have reverberated from one end of the country to the other. They should have disturbed all Israelis, no matter what their political outlook. All parents in Israel should have put themselves in the place of those unfortunate parents.
Israel must not take inordinate pride in the very fact that it provides medical care for two sick children. In the state of siege it has imposed on Gaza, Israel bears heavy moral responsibility for the welfare and health of the besieged. It should also be noted that the siege is preventing Gaza's Shifa Hospital from expanding its departments as planned, due to lack of building materials in Gaza. But the decision not to allow parents to accompany their children, which is also made in many other cases in which patients are denied entry to Israel for life-saving treatments, is insufferable… Read on!
These Zionist who claim to be humans are nothing but monster. Is there anything more inhuman than forcing children to leave their parent, especially at times like these?
What if the children passed a hard time during or after the operation? Can you imagine the heart of their mothers, fathers and family?
How in hell can I be asked to 'talk peace' with monster like the Zionist who lack any degree of mercy or humanity?

Good job is uncovering this article my friend, I had just finished reading it on Ha'aretz when I found it on you site.
Well, the "heartless Zionist monsters who claim to be humans" are also the ones who offered and are providing the medical care. Nobody forced them to, and nobody forced any children to leave their parents either.
….

Gideon, Israel
You seem to have ignored the main point here (and this is not surprising from a Zionist), which is lack of supply due to Zionist siege.
IF and only IF Gaza and rest of Occupied Palestine is not under siege and all ports are control by the Zionist terrorist killing machine, then Palestinians would have travelled somewhere else for medication, at worst case. Best case would be treated inside Palestine, if they have the necessary supply, which obviously is not the case under the control of the "merciful" Zionist occupation.
Gideon Israel, (if you are reading)
I think you missed another point also, as in you didn't read the above article correctly. It states,
"The hospital is to be praised for the project. The editors at Channel 10 News and reporter Shlomi Eldar are also to be praised. Israel and its security establishment, however, deserve a mark of disgrace." and "Israel must not take inordinate pride in the very fact that it provides medical care for two sick children. In the state of siege it has imposed on Gaza, Israel bears heavy moral responsibility for the welfare and health of the besieged."
Have you heard of the Hippocratic Oath? Have you heard of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which states in Article 25, " (1) Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control."?
You are suggesting that "no one FORCED any children to leave their parents either". FORCED? The medical care was unavailable in Gaza due to Israel's denial of the the necessary medicines crossing into Gaza, generators breaking down in hospitals, inability to pay the wages of the hospital employees, conditions that are NOT anywhere near optimal. Do you know that even anesthesia is almost impossible to obtain? So what was supposed to occur? Not seek help the ONLY place POSSIBLE. How many patients have already died who were denied treatment in Israel? Yes, it is possible in SOME cases, they may have died anyway just due to their condition, not every life can be saved, but the Hippocratic Oath REQUIRES doctors to give care to save lives.
Gideon Israel, could you possibly imagine this happening to your own child? The parents not being able to be with the child is HORRENDOUS, absolutely HORRENDOUS. I have three daughters and I would be absolutely unconsolable if this were to happen to any one of them. The children being unable to have their parents there is the most HEARTLESS thing possible. That is ALSO a matter of medical care. Hospitals normally allow the parents to stay in the rooms with their children. This is ENCOURAGED so that the child feels comfortable and unafraid in their already strange and stressful surroundings. Parents help their children COPE and HEAL. So don't go trying to say that this is wonderful care, because it is NOT! Medical care consists of MUCH more than technique, (which is not being questioned here) ESPECIALLY for vulnerable children. Would your own child not need YOU there under this circumstance? This is just beyond any words and every single person reading here, we should each of us be praying that our creator holds these children in the palm of his hand that they return home healthy and THEN have the ability to live a life of safety and dignity
The kinds of comments from people like Gideon show the absolute arrogance and hatefulness that will not be tolerated for too much longer. People like this will eat their words and be covered in shame when zionism toppels. Don't think it won't. These things do not last long. I know that sixty years seems long, and that is not to minumize the suffering on either side, but it will end. God always prevails, and brings down the prideful and hauty of heart.
What is that old saying?…"The bigger they are, the harder they fall."
Here is the latest report for Gideon Israel and his alike to "enjoy":
History will judge soon enough. Injustice ALWAYS runs on a straight path to failure. It's only a matter of time.
Gideon,Israel,
Tell me one thing that Israel has done that is good for the Palestinians!
Now, remember that you have occupied these people for over 60 years.
You have stolen their lands, occupied them, and tortured them all this time.
And you say you are helping them?
Give me a break.
I came across your website from the Bloggie Awards website and I have been enjoying reading through many of your posts. I think it is imperative to achieve an understanding of something based on all viewpoints. This is especially difficult in the Middle East conflict because so many "news" sources are fueled by a variety of factors other than getting to the truth: emotion, or culture, or personal opinion, etc. Thus I appreciate your website as an alternate viewpoint to what the world gets from the major players (CNN, BBC, etc.)
I apologize in advance for posting on an older entry, but I could not resist my intrigue and I admit, slight confusion, about your choice to delete Gideon, Israel's response concerning this particular article. The first thing I did after visiting your website and finding interest in several of your posts, was to read your "about" section. I had already witnessed this on your site, but you reiterated your stance by saying this,
"The blog topics encourage healthy discussions on political, cultural, religious and life in Arab World, however, my chief interest is in the intersection between politics, individual liberty and freedom in the Middle East, particularly in Palestine. The vast majority of my blog posts touches on this in one way or another, and try to create a better understanding of what is going around and speaking the truth which is always hidden in Western media when it comes to Palestine/Israel conflict."
And yet, here you yourself as well as other visitors to your site post really intelligent, lengthy responses to Gideon, Israel's comment. But you deleted the majority of his comment, labeling it a "Zionist propaganda crap comment". And when I began to write my own comment, I see it again just below, "Comments are free, facts are sacred but NO ZIONIST PROPAGANDA!"
I firmly respect that first and foremost this is your website and you can do with it whatever you like, as is your right. You host it, you write it, you decide who, what, when, where, and how. And you should.
But I can't help but feel slighted, a little disappointed. Of all the alternative viewpoints to Western media and of all the intelligent pieces you have presented here, as well as your statement to "encourage healthy discussions," you have continued the discussion without providing the original source of discussion. You've eliminated the chance to see the real quality in your, or any other commenter's rhetoric, the heart of the matter if you will. I look forward to getting your opinion on what a "zionist" has to say. And I can't see that if you delete everything he said.
I would whole-heartedly understand if the commenter used derogatory language, curse words, etc. But as it stands, I can't make that judgment.
Regardless, I hope to continue reading many more of your posts now that I have discovered you! Good luck to you in all future endeavors.
Happiness & Health,
-Abby
Abby,
I don't remember what this Gideon said exactly, but I remember that his comment was was racist, hateful and degrading humanity (especially of Palestinians) and full of Zionist lies, which is nothing new. We all know that Zionism is Racism and such type of comments ads nothing but waste of time and running from facing facts and answering the questions.
No regret in throwing him and all such Zionists out. They belong to jails only!
