Not saying that Hamas is better than Abbas or the Palestinian Authority or any other Arab Authorities, but didn't Hamas offer a cease fire? Aren't the Israelis changing the discourse from a "halt on rocket attacks for a halt on invasion" to a "halt on rocket attacks for food and fuel?" Despite all this, they put the blame on Hamas and it's control on Gaza.
Yes, Hamas should let go the control to someone else, but Abbas and allies to play this dirty game to corner Hamas is not by any means appreciated by anyone. Palestinians in Gaza are not grateful for anyone in breaking the siege by themselves without any help from Arab. In fact this is another lessons for the world leaders that Palestinian mass can (and will) take control of the ship at any moment and turn the table on the cowered heads.

Fatah, Hamas and all Palestinian factions should be ashamed. Especialy those in Damascus now. It is the will of the people that is in control, but if niether Fatah or Hamas are good to be our leadership who is? whom can we find to elect? We need new honest, young, patriot blood to lead us to statehood

I used to defend Arabs and Muslims when my own sister told me they disgusted her , now i know how she felt . Now im disgusted totally;.

Who said that Hamas is better than the PA in politics? But they are less corrupted. No, neither Hamas nor PA will feed the Gazans because occupation are still across the road. But tell me, what did the existing peace process bring to Palestinians? And what it will bring to them with the existing rhythm and agenda? did Israel respect Abbas and stopped the targeted killing and the collective punishment? did Israel respect any of the agreements they signed with the PA? did they stop eating the land? did will the refugees return home? and at what cost? If Abbas is so confident of himself and consider himself a president for all Palestinians, then why is he scared to go and visit Gaza and protect them? Did he protect those in West Bank? How may did Israel kill in West Bank in the last few weeks? Did they respect him and his Government and stopped assassination of Fatah resistance fighter in West Bank villages and cities?
Live in pride and die in pride… land will not be retuned for free. Land will not return while Abbas is sitting around dinner table with Olmert while the IOF are killing more innocent kids and elder in their beds. What Palestinians had during the first and second intifada is more more than what they have now, so what are Abbas is running after? Giving more to Israel for their "security" and absorbing more humiliation and lives by Palestinians.

when palestinians refuse to obey the Israelis and support armed struggle and unite (and not give all the info to the shabak and Mossad like many traitors ) Israel will get the messag and accept to negotiate seriously . right now they know they have idiots they can buy with Dollars and wine (dahlan ) and fat bank accounts abroad . we want Decent honest leaders who know what they are talking about , who have no problem correcting Bush if he misses something important in his press conference (like compensations to refugiees that went unnoticed )

The Israeli-Arab conflict have always been of a media and international support kind.. We started to get there by negotiations but did not do well at media yet, thanks to Hammas always giving reasons for Israel to sustain its attack with an international cover. We all know how many times Hammas blew a negotiation break through by a bombing in Tel Aviv or western Jerusalem, God knows why :))))
