This is why we “LOVE” Israel…
Tax Payers: Remember, your money goes to equip these Israeli terrorist, so you are equally responsible for these war crimes! (As long as you don’t denounce the Israeli occupation by ANY MEANS. We understand that your money goes to support Israeli crimes without your approval, but silence is complicity! - Update after Hamzeh’s comment for clarity)
The bleeding lady was lucky enough to be able to walk from home and reach this point to meet the ambulance which took her to the hospital. Whereas, the second ambulance could not make it to their destination because the Israeli terrorist army blocked them from reaching their patient.
Last but not least, God only knows how long the girl, her aunt and the baby stood in the sun before being allowed to “Go HOME!” (If at all they were allowed to). Then the world condemns a martyr who blow himself in these coward Israeli terrorist?! Imagine yourself being the one in that position, what would you do? Imagine watching your mother, sister, daughter, son, elder etc, bleeding and while humiliated by Israeli terrorist and on top of all that denied access to medical care. What would you do?
Imagine this happen to an Israel or American or European… you know the rest!

Thanks for posting this video Haitham, but I have to comment on your sentence at the beginning of the post.
This sentence is both unnecessary and unfair. I am one of the tax payers you’re talking to, as I am currently working in the US. There are millions of Arab and Muslim US citizens (I’m not a citizen) that pay taxes in the US. Are you saying that I and they are equally responsible for what the soldiers in this video did? I fail to see the logic in that, and fail to imagine you doing otherwise if you had to work in the US. I know you probably didn’t mean it, but don’t worry about me, worry about the other readers who will come to this blog, read this comment, and be completely turned off by it, and might even close their browser without watching the video at all. This sentence would be far too damaging to your goal then, wouldn’t it?
I suggest removing that sentence, and removing this comment afterward as well.
Thanks, Hamzeh!
You are right, it could be understood wrongly and that’s not what I meant. Anyway, I added clarification, and no need to delete anything. I have nothing to hide
Hamzeh,
As an American reading your comment I must gently disagree with you. As a citizen (who unless I want to get in a whole heap of trouble) bound by law to pay taxes, I resent like hell my taxes going towards the occupation, (not only of Palestine, but of Iraq as well). There are actually laws on the books which I am sure you are aware of that if you knowingly supply a gun to a known criminal, then you are held criminally indictable.
Gun sellers must make use of strict background checks prior to selling a gun to anyone. Sorry, but Israel would not pass that background check.
The fact is, that unless we as accomplices to this crime are doing all we can do to speak out against our arming of Israel, then by sheer complicity, we too are responsible. Israel could NOT be doing what it is doing without the support of the US, and as citizens, we better darn well know what we are supporting via this bottomless pit open wallet. It is WRONG and Americans need to know this and SPEAK OUT, write their representatives, call all parties, White House, State Department, etc, or else we are just letting our tax dollars go to a CRIME. And I am an American and I and MANY other Americans are NOT afraid to say this to our own countrymen because America should NOT be supporting something which is against every single value we are SUPPOSED to have, needless to say laws that are on our own books about selling arms. (notice I said supposed, I did not say we practice them) So while we are not actually DOING what is in this video, we ARE making it possible to occur and continue.
WOOPS, posting at the same time!
Exactly what I said in couple of words, Robin… “silence is complicity!”
In relation to us taxpayers once more, and in relation to the FACT that the US is fully behind the funding of these CRIMES, note what Joe Lieberman and James Inhofe are up to
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/125326
Lieberman has also been in the news this week for his statement on water boarding”
““It is not like putting burning coals on people’s bodies. The person is in no real danger. The impact is psychological.”
This is the SAME Joe Lieberman who ran as VP with Gore the “environmentalist”, the SAME Joe Lieberman who everyone admired for not campaigning on the Jewish sabbath.
Make this CLEAR, Zionism is a POLITICAL entity, but not all Zionists are Jews and certainly NOT all Jews are Zionists. But the Zionist mentality and their actions are SICKENING.
Lieberman and others like him are leading our country down a path which is TOTALLY antithetical to what our country STATES it stands for, there is NO sharing of Zionist values with what we CLAIM are our values. And of course we don’t see this on CNN, because MAYBE it would wake Americans up to what our tax dollars are going to and those like Joe Lieberman just might have to go crawl back under the rock from which they came!
I really don’t know what’s with the attitude on this blog. The sentence at the beginning of this post now says this:
This is still wrong, because it doesn’t account for readers who might be new to the whole subject of the Arab/Israeli conflict, and such individuals are the majority among Americans. So what is the real effect of this sentence? It immediately puts these people on the defensive, attacking them and accusing them of being “equally responsible” as war criminals! Most people will simply close their web browser or navigate to another web page and dismiss this entire blog for being almost fanatical in its logic.
Just because someone hasn’t heard of the Israeli/Arab conflict and is a law-abiding citizen who pays his or her taxes, doesn’t make him or her responsible for war crimes committed with the money his or her government gives to others.
The irony in all of this is that the title of this very post acknowledges that the average American is deliberately prevented by other parties from finding the real truth as it clearly says “What you don’t see on CNN!”
I say this with the most well-meaning and sincere intentions. This attitude will not win anyone over to your side of the argument, and on the contrary, it will drive people away and make them not want to listen to you in the future when you have something good to say.
I totally agree with Hamzeh N… You have to put the shoe on the other foot- would you be interested in reading a blog that starts off defining you specifically ( you and only you) by calling you a terrorist because you are a Palestinain?
The nature of blogs is that we volunteer to read them. And we can easly click away to somewhere else. If your point is simply to preach to the choir- the people already well informed about the roll money & America’s congress has to play in this cruel mess then the sentence works. But if your goal is to try to reach all the many clueless Americans that are stuck with CNN as their main source of news Hamzeh brings up a very important point concerning approach.
I am very impressed that Hamzeh followed up his orginal comment to read and think about the change made becasue of what he said. Kudos first of all to SABBAH for listening- but also to Hamzeh for follow through: )
Let me be totally honest here.
After 9/11, myself and many friends agreed to pointing nuclear missiles to Mecca. And telling the Arabs that if they tried anything else we will nuke Mecca.
I plead guilty! That was my view.
After reading Haithams site and others, I am starting to realize the truth. And it is a simple truth.
Arab (or should I say Muslim) countries don’t like to be occupied.
That is simple enough.
After 60 years of occupation, Palestinians are tired of their occupation.
Hezbollah and Hamas are freedom fighters.
They are trying to remove their occupation.
Forget CNN. They don’t report on the occupation.
Maybe we could tell the Zionists to stop their occupation or we will nuke Tel Aviv.
All is fair in love and war!
Thanks for the linking to this video Haitham
Annie and Hamzeh,
The taxes you pay in the US pays the Israeli government to continue the occupation of Gaza.
Even though the UN says that the occupation is illegal.
Therefore the taxes you pay is going to illegal practices by the US and Israeli governments.
How can you not understand this.
My Canadian government does the same thing.
All Haitham is doing is pointing this out to you.
And you don’t understand how you can’t see this?
Hamzeh,
I fail to see the logic in that, and fail to imagine you doing otherwise if you had to work in the US.
With all due respect…if you fail to see the logic in the truth it is impossible to word it in a way that brings you to it. Would you rather all bloggers and people who comment walk on egg shells to avoid telling the unadulterated truth? That is censorship and that, my friend, is exactly why many American’s and others do not see the truth.
Peace be with you, Haithham…
‘walking on eggshells”- a good way to phrase it and an excellent point indeed!
However it seems to me that in this particular instance the subject at hand is of how to introduce a subject so as to hopefully lure people who don’t understand the situation yet into understanding what is really going on.
And where do you really want the focus to be? Are you using the video to prove that America is evil and should be hated, or are you using the video to explain to Americans that no one should admire or support “Israel”- and that there is something seriously wrong with American support for “Israel”.
I just posted an informative video on my blog which I think handles the subject very well. It does include the fact that American tax payers fund Israel’s Occupation & Apartheid, but that information is not the headline. It is buried deep within all the relevant facts about what Israel has been doing.
It was sent to me in an email under the title ” The Wretched Wall”
http://chromovision.com/films/Wall.wmv
Watch the video and you will see that immediately the video introduces and labels the wall not as ‘wretched’, but as “The Wall of Hate”, a much stronger and more accurate description. However in introducing the subject more gently in the subject line, one is drawn into understanding the situation.
Kimmy,
What you just stated is something I perfectly understand and acknowledge. I pay taxes to the US federal government. The US government funds Israel. Part of the money I pay will count to a small ratio of what the US pays Israel.
What I don’t understand is how you can then use the information above to call me “equally responsible” for the crimes that Israel commits, and “equally responsible” for America’s support of Israel’s actions.
I understand the facts you stated, but can you understand the following simple point?
Just because I pay taxes to the US doesn’t mean I am responsible even by the least tidbit for what the US policy makers choose to do with that money.
FYI, I pay taxes in the US not as a citizen, but as a foreign worker. I have absolutely no say in what the US government does. I do not even have the right to vote in the US.
Do you think you can understand that?
And that goes to the poetry man too.
