U.S., Israeli stars rally at L.A. benefit concert for Sderot
By Haaretz Staff and Channel 10Israeli and American celebrities rallied this week at a benefit concert in Los Angeles for the rocket-weary people of Sderot.

The participants included movie stars Sylvester Stallone, Jon Voight and Valerie Harper, comedian Larry Miller and Israeli singer Ninet Tayeb.
Teenagers from Sderot were flown over for the concert in an bid to highlight the daily suffering that Gaza militants cause through Qassam attacks on the Negev town.

Let us not forget that post 9/11 Mr. Stallone was one those “celebrities” who was scared to fly. Then again, if he dons his “Rambo” hair-piece he can actively assist the Jews in their slow-motion genocide of the Palestinians. It took the Nazis some 4 years to kill 6 million Jews. It may well take the Jews 100 years to kill 6 million Palestinians – I don’t see any difference between the two. The ends are the same – only the means are different.
Just to let you know, members of Women in Black LA, some of whom are also International Solidarity members, members of A.N.S.W.E.R. and other groups held a candlelight vigil across the street from this event. Our illustrious LA mayor of course was there too, but there WAS a demonstration which also included many Jewish, Palestinian, American and other activists.

im very candid about this issue–while i respect palestinian aspirations for a national homeland, im strongly against suicide bombings and rocket attacks on israeli civilians—peace will never ever b acheived unless both sides recognize and respect each otherz right 2 live in peace,dignity, and freedom.
