Poor woman being killed by her paranoid father. She died a virgin. Poor woman. That’s all I can say - except, I am never surprised by the level of ongoing barbarity in Saudi Arabia.
Who is worse than the poor woman’s father. In fact, the clerics are. Too many of them are raping very young boys, often at schools and in orphanages. Too many of them are having problems with drug and alcohol addition. Too many of them frequent orgies of drugs, alcohols, rapes, etc. What else is new???
By the way, do look up the internet on imams’ sex abuses of boys.

killing for chatting with the unseen…but all unseen filth that fills and infests the streets, hotel rooms, bars and private whore nooks of Europe, Lebanon, Jordan and of course the US of A by many so called religious zealots and devotee leaders of a suppopsedly Moslem Country that dearly braces the tomb of the Prophet Mohammed…
Is there not any law that punishes these thugs and hooligans who are well aware that the internet is “THE SECRET UNSEEN” window to the world, thus prohibit its infitrations to their supposedly sacred land???
Then a man kills his daughter just for chatting with an unseen man, a man who could have been more of a listener than a propogator of a dysfunctional society whose morality is seen through the oil and dollar.

sorry 2 say but da fact of da matter is that we muslims r in a bind and 2 disunited—-arabs vs non arabs, sunni vs shia, haves vs have nots,secular vs sacred etc —-sorry 2 say but most non-arab muslims of secular temperament dont c da palestinian issue as a muslim or islamic one—ie, they dont c it as muslims vs. jews, they c it more as an ethnic one,ie, arabs vs israelis. its only da minority religious ones which view it as a pan-islamic issue but since most of these religious ones r poor,uneducated,uncultured,over-religious and isolated, no one pays any attention 2 them. This slogan of muslim brotherhood or muslim unity is just empty rhetoric now—for example, arafat and da rest of da PLO/PNA leadership always sidelined pakistan, a non-arab muslim country, and embraced india as a true friend in fact siding with india on da sensitive kashmir issue—as a result, mostly after about six decades of unwavering and blind pakistani support for their palestinian and other arab brethren, after being rejected by arabs and palestinians da new generation of pakistanis dont care about palestine anymore (though they did sympathize a lot for their ordeal)—after about six decades and seeing no real arab support for kashmir issue, most pakistanis wana do what is best in their interest and if it is best in pakistani interest to establish ties with israel, then so b it goes da common logic–turkey, another non-arab muslim country, has relations with both da arabs and israelis—heck even da egyptians,jordanians, and even PNA has diplomatic relations with israel and deal with them on a daily basis—so da logic goes, y should pakistanis b more palestinian then da palestinians themselves. and besides PNA never reciprocated back by siding with pakistan on kashmir issue—even when arafat in 97 or 98 went 2 a trip 2 india and met with da hardline hindu govt. officials for support for da palestinian cause, he ignored representatives from indian muslim communities upsetting them. When da gujrat riots happened, no single arab country, condemned da BJP govt. for da massacre of thousands of innocent indian muslim civilians. PNA didnt care about it though it wanted da indian govt. to support its cause, da saudis didnt take a tough line against india, in fact they didnt take any line. this was despite da fact that pakistan govt.officials went to cairo and other arab capitals 2 meet for arab league support. they came back empty handed. in fact in some arab capitals, such as cairo and damascus, very low level officials greeted them and lectured them with disdain and conceit—in da early ninteez, when the then pakistani prime minister, the late benazir bhutto went 2 meet with arafat asking him 2 speak with indian officials in regards to human rite violations, citing common ground of oppression as well as muslim brotherhood, arafat just snubbed her and dismissed her in less then twenty minutes saying, ” u may b a fellow muslim country, but india is my best friend and while pakistani diplomatic support for palestinians is nice, but india is more influential than you and i will never upset india by bringing up da kashmir issue, sorry”. after that arafat and his officials over da years would visit india occasionally and always support their stance on kashmir. Even da righteous saudis would snub pakistan calling it “miskeen” and other derogatory names in arabic—many poor children from pakistan and indian muslim communites were smuggled 2 saudi and khleeji states used as jockeys, many of them died—where was outrage then and that goes back 2 da heart of da topic—that we muslims r very selective—like how muslims r treated in USA and palestine but stay numb about what is happening 2 muslims in kashmir or how r non-muslims treated with contempt and discrimination in muslim countries—i agree with Dr. Ali that da problem lies within ourselves—r da muslims in kashmir,checniya,afghanistan, or phillipines or in pakistan,indian or bangladesh any less just becuz they r not arab? decide for urself—for Mr.Haitham i would say that i do believe that palestinians have suffered a lot and truly deserve a homeland of their own, not becuz most of u r muslim, thats not a valid reason, but becuz u have been treated with injustice and oppression—but while i say that, u should also bring 2 lite injustice suffered by non-arab muslims and non-muslims also—i dont c any outrage on da suffering of darfurians or kashmiris or pakistani and indian children smuggled to saudi and gulf, y???what about how jews r treated in iran or christian persecution in muslim lands??? y cant we b as democratic as israel and also have human rites, and da rule of law and an independent and free judiciary system??? what about da palestinian authority which has received millions and millions of dollars from international agencies and countries but nothing is spent by these palestinian officials on their ppl—y not talk about that sometimes as well? i am a punjabi american muslim here in da states and even sometimes i have 2 encounter subtle racism and i appreciate u brining da racism which we muslims every now and then encounter in america or other western countries, but i also do believe that we need 2 expose da discrimination non-muslim minorities face in muslim lands b they christians,jews, hindus or whatever. we cant say that oh just becuz israelis r killing palestinian muslims so its OK if iran suppresses its jewish minority population—im not saying that u said that, but i know da mentality is there in many of us muslims 2 use circular logic 2 justify suppression on others—its very tempting but it only negatively portrays us muslims—also sometimes talk about how saudis and khaalejis treat third world labor both muslim and non-muslim—abuse of maids, child jockey, third world labor detention houses—u cant just ignore these injustices and dismiss them as insignificant and trivial just becuz u feel compelled to pander and suck up to ur rich saudi and khaleeji brothers—when u do, u open urself 2 criticism and charges of being double-faced—u becum no better than da oppressive israelis since ppl will begin 2 view u as selfish caring only about ur plight but conveniently ignoring other pplz plights. sorry for telling da bitter truth, but its high time that we muslims also exercise some introspection—by no means am i saying that dont criticize non-muslims here in america or europe, all im saying is that we muslims should also practise what we preach—if killing palestinians is wrong,(which undoubtedly it is wrong), then smuggling children, b they muslim or non-muslim 2 saudi and khaleeji countries (or for that matter anywhere) where they r abused as child jockeys is wrong 2. if calling arabs ragheads is racist (which it is), then so is calling jews apes and pigs. and now u get da idea—its as simple as that—while we muslims have every rite to practise and preach our religion in america and r entitled 2 it, but we must equally b supportive of non-muslims minorities to practise their religion, customs and creeds in muslim lands. in any event, thats how i feel about da situation and hope no one feels hurt about what i said becuz im saying da bitter truth—also sorry for posting on da wrong topic boards, i dont know how it happned, it just noticed it now, it should had been obviously under “How Muslims Are Treated in USA”? Perhaps Mr. Haitham could if possible, transfer my post 2 da proper topic board.

I don’t have enough knowledge to know if it’s true or not, but I do know that sometimes news like this gets planted in order to enhance the “cultural clash”. I know Iqbal’s site can’t be allowed in some countries because they simply won’t see that she has no advertising at all, much less explicit stuff, and this is a way to keep thoughts out of that area. In addition to social and gender discrimination, there is a sort of censorship of society that keeps everyone just focused on the world in front of their noses, so to keep the strife of their Arab brothers away from the public, or to expose people to any other kind of idea is a huge threat to closed or heirarchical societies. Censorship comes in a lot of different forms.

If it is true, though, it is terrible news. Yet, we have to insist: is it true? Until we know, it is going to be like another of those “pumped up stories”. Remember the one that the man in Iran was killed for being homosexual? Unfortunately, he was condemned to death, but for the crime of rape of a minor. This did not come out in much of the news, but the other message did. The condemnation is of course criminal in itself, but the reporting of it was false and created yet another “chapter” in the book of “Iran is our enemy! They are vile and uncivil and backward!” While at the same time, most other countries, even advanced democracies, do not offer women much hope for their futures, and in Iran, half of the students are women… So much for our perspectives being realistic!
