A story online today details how Palestinians are losing hope that negotiations will ever produce a fair deal for an independent state beside Israel.In response, sentiment is growing among Palestinians to stop fighting for territory and begin struggling for equal rights and voting privileges in a land where Arabs will soon be the majority.

Surely this is the only option for lasting peace anyway, there is hardly any land left for a ‘viable’ Palestinian state, let alone room for the refugees from the 1948 expulsion to move back to.
Surely to solve all outstanding issues there needs to exists one state in which Israelis, Arabs, Jews and Muslims can co-exists and share Jerusalem (with Christians) as a kind of international city.
