Israel’s neighbors want to extinguish it. Look at a map. It is a very narrow country in some spots. When you are living next door to a group who would wage war on you at the drop of a hat, who could sever your country in two in minutes, what are you supposed to do? Nuke them now and eliminate the problem? A more peaceful solution is to establish colonies throughout the region preventing it from unifying and attacking you. Not a pretty solution, and easy to criticize. But if you have some better answer, which does not require Israel to simply give up and go under, an answer that will allow Israel to survive that is not based on ignorance and fuzzy wishful thinking, let’s hear about it!
