I was able to find some videos posted on Google by a young Israeli girl who considers herself a Jew who believes in Jesus. There are four videos showing how they are treated by their fellow citizens, its sickening.

He said he regretted the burning of the books, but called it a “commandment” to burn materials that urge Jews to convert.

“I certainly don’t denounce the burning of the booklets,” he said. “I denounce those who distributed the booklets.”

So-let’s cut to the essence of this-there was prostalyzing going on (something not allowed in Israel which is well-known-or at least should be- it is a fact) these zealots took MAJOR offense, then burnt the holy books of those prostalyzers as they claim is their “commandment” to do. UGLY. Thing is, it is also the “commandment” of Christianity to “make fishers of men”

Unlike most things “Zionist” which can be rightfully attributed to POLITICAL actions, this incident is definitely a matter of the clashing of the faiths, One of which claims “choseness”, the other thinking they need to win them over to Christianity-when Christianity isn’t the answer to any problem either! Do these Christian missionaries REALLY think they are going to solve anything by converting Jews to Christainity? What is their TRUE reason for pushing this issue? What was the purpose of distributing these Bibles there? Where do the Muslim Palestinians fit in in this scheme?

I’d like to know exactly which group it was who entered this enclave of ZEALOTS with their OWN Zealotry and desire to CONVERT, offer ANOTHER faith as the “truth”. If these were “Christians” who believe that so many Jews need to be converted to bring on Armageddon then are they distributing the Bible in GOOD faith? On the other hand were they handled in good faith by the people who lived in the community? Absolutely NOT!

Please do not think I am condoning this Bible burning. It was a very very ugly event, just horrendous, because the BIBLE is a holy book to all Christians but often times is used as a sword. I happen to be a person who thinks that missionary work and trying to spread one’s own faith as the “only truth” is equally as ugly. As for George Bush and his own Christian Zionist beliefs, UGLY too, but will he be offended by the Bible burning? I highly doubt it, he worships the “chosen people” too much to ever speak against any of them

In reality, I wish everyone’s mind could be swept clean of religious zealotry in ALL cases. It isn’t going to happen UNLESS people do what the original poster of this article has stated in their own name, put human beings first. NO ONE IS CHOSEN, there are just too many “truths” to boggle the mind and reek havoc. And to think, some call this the “Holy Land”
