Can’t the students cross into Egypt and apply for their visas at the US embassy in Cairo?

Isreal should allow free travel in any case, regardless of the Fulbright grants. Of course all Gazans should have the right to travel without having to get Isreal’s “permission” in any case. But the Fulbright grants are a tool of US propaganda and imperialism and are not something to be supported or desired. They will only create spies or compradors.
