As reported by BBC:
'Jewish settler attack' on film
By Tim Franks – BBCFootage from a video camera handed out by an Israeli human rights group appears to show Jewish settlers beating up Palestinians in the West Bank.
An elderly shepherd, his wife and a nephew said they were attacked by four masked men for allowing their animals to graze near the settlement of Susia.
The rights group, B'Tselem, said the cameras were provided to enable Palestinians to get proof of attacks.
A spokesman for the Israeli police said that an investigation was under way.
So far, no-one has been arrested.
Baseball bats
For the past year, B'Tselem has handed out video cameras to Palestinians as part of its "Shooting Back" project.
The BBC has been given exclusive access to the footage of this particular attack, which happened earlier this week. The date and time on the camera footage shows that it is Sunday afternoon.
Over the brow of the hill walk four masked men holding baseball bats. To the right of the screen, in the foreground, stands a 58-year-old Palestinian woman.
Thamam al-Nawaja has been herding her goats close to the Jewish settlement of Susia, near Hebron in the southern West Bank.
Within a few seconds, she, along with her 70-year-old husband and one of her nephews, will be beaten up.
As the first blows land, the woman filming – the daughter-in-law of the elderly couple – drops the camera and runs for help.
'Ten-minute warning'
Mrs Nawaja spent three days in hospital after the attack.
Returning to the small Palestinian encampment close to the red-roofed houses of Susia, she stepped slowly and unsteadily out of the minibus.
A dark stain showed through the white gauze covering her broken right arm. Her veil was lifted gingerly away from her lined face. A bloodshot eye and intersection of scars revealed a fractured left cheek.
"The settlers gave us a 10-minute warning to clear off from the land," she told me, her voice a tired, cracked whisper.
She and her husband had stood their ground. It is at this point that her voice grows louder.
"They don't want us to stay on our land. But we won't leave. We'll die here. It's ours," she added.
Indeed, the rest of the world regards Jewish settlements in the West Bank such as Susia, as illegal, built on occupied territory.
Those settlements have been a large part of the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis for the last 41 years. The daily confrontation is not often caught on camera. That, now, is beginning to change.
Video proof
The attack near Susia was filmed with one of 100 video cameras that B'Tselem has handed out to Palestinians in the region.
The thinking behind the project is that when trouble flares, rather than just giving a statement to the Israeli police or army, video carries much more weight.
"The difference is amazing," says Oren Yakobovich, who leads the Shooting Back project.
"When they have the camera, they have proof that something happened. They now have something they can work with, to use as a weapon."
We asked a spokesman from the Susia settlement for a comment on Sunday's incident. He declined.
Inside one of the tents belonging to the Palestinians living near Susia, we watched the footage of the aftermath of the attack – the victims slumped by the roadside, bloodied, waiting for an ambulance.
The bright, wide eyes of the children shone with the light of the small television screen.
Violence against Jews as well as Palestinians has long scarred this place. Video may now may be giving us a new and raw view.
But for most people here, the only answer – a political deal – remains out of sight.
Surprisingly, this story made it to top news at Digg. Give it more votes, Digg the story here!
These are the peace loving people that we, Palestinians, are supposed to make peace and live side by side with.
Of course there is plenty more to show, which you will never see on CNN and Fox. In fact I was uploading videos of this type today on PTT TV. Watch more here (and bookmark it as more yet to come).
Update 1: The Zionist control at YouTube hit again. In less than couple of hours from publishing the video, it was removed and I was issued a warning that read the following:
Update 2: I found a link to a longer version of the same incident on Ha'aretz (Hat tip: Mohammad Shaltaf). Surprisingly it is on YouTube!!! To avoid losing it if YouTube decides to remove it like they did with mine, I've have a copy on my TV:

Youtube has removed it for violation of use Haitham.
Christian Science Monitor also has an article which gives other info

If someone watches this and doesn't "get it", what is happening to the Palestinians and the HATRED towards them from these settlers as well as others then there is some sort of disconnect in their cognitive thinking. Would this be allowed towards anyone in America?
HELL NO! Would the entire hate apparatus be taken down? HELL YES.
You couldn't say boo before law enforcement, the media, the churches (hopefully most of them) came after you to show you just for what you are. Be talking about it and be utterly ashamed. But yet our American tax dollars just keep flowing for "Israeli security" What a load of LIES. What a load of IGNORANT Americans who think we should be supporting Israel.
I didn't expect anything more or less from YouTube. Day after day they just prove what they are.
Anyway, because I always expect the worse from them, I have it uploaded on different hosts (an a local copy, just in case).
However, this should not stop everyone from uploading it again and again on YouTube (until you get banned :-) )to piss them off!
Clarification: On the comment prior, I was NOT saying that youtube had a reason to delete this video. Sometimes my eyes play tricks on me so perhaps I missed Haitham's update so I myself was writing I found it had been deleted. What the hell are "community guidelines" and is it a long list so you don't know which one you violated? Or do they give you the exact guideline they claim you violated? I don't know how these things work, but seems someone or someoneS over there are sure quick to be looking for things and shutting them down. Maybe the truth about what is going on where they think they can control it themselves from their handy dandy Zionist computers wherever they are. You betcha!
It is a list of reasons and you may pick one or more :-)
I understand that these are guidelines which they protect themselves with, but these laws are so general and elastic, they can use it to censor what they are ordered to ban and leave the rest. Whose order? Go figure :-)

The settlers together with some very convinced zionists in the Israeli government has hijacked Israel, spending credibility and money on torturing Palestininans (most of them not attacking civilians) until they leave their land. Many in Israel are honorable people who would like to live in peace in a mediterrenean climate where homosexuals, transvestites, muslims, christians, jews and other innocent people can live as close or separate as they want to be without forming hostility between themselves. They want to live in my idea of an ideal country.
Instead their tax money is wasted and their country is tarnished by people who would hurt and oppress others for the sake of a religious dream (like, you know, the people the US neocons say they fight a brave war against).
Israel is allowed to collectively punish Palestinian civilians for democratically choosing Hamas (or at least not ousting them) but if Palestine attacks the Israelis who allow this collective punishment to go on then they are attacking innocent Israelis and they are attacked (along with their innocent neighbours).
Make no mistake, I approve of so many aspects of the state of Israel (it is relatively safe for openly gay people in a region where homosexuals are abused and marginalized), but the behaviour os Israel and its allies is the human sin of hipocrisy brought to the national level and it makes me very energized and angry. Thank you for this blog.
thanks Haitham for posting it on Dailymotion . someone posted it on a forum I use (US) and i was pleased to see it . thanks again
American zionists and israelis jews live in a state of denial. This the reason why zionist Jews and israelis pay more attention to criticisms than to crimes committed against another people the Palestinians.
Shame on the zionists, their supporters and Israel. It has brought shame and disgrace to Judaism and Jews.
Ok Haitham..It is again on Youtube

Please inform me if you want me to edit anything in it or to reupload any other vidio…welcome any time :)
Good initiative Haitham. Glad to see that someone at least reports what is actually happening.
Mohd Shaltaf,
Thanks bro. Spread the word… the more the better.
This made CNN today — CNN International. I live in the US and am lucky to get CNN Int. but most people don't. Their coverage of this is how I heard about this. At least the BBC reported it too. I will put it on my website…. Many people in the U.S. are aware of what is going on but our politicians pretend it's not happening. Even Senator Obama pretends it's not happening. Surprisingly, it was Condoleeza Rice who said recently that the settlements should stop. It's weird that she should be more upset about it than Barack Obama.
