Anyways, I was surprised that the immigration crossed out the 3-months and instead wrote 2 weeks in my passport even I produced an invitation letter and my return trip tickets. So I went to their ministry of immigration accompanied by a lawyer who speaks good Hebrew (our Israel office consists of a good number of lawyers from UK and the US – mostly Jewish folks). The immigration set me up with an appointment date without giving any sort of a temporary paper to at least protect me from a catch-22 scenario.

So between the appointment date and my 2-weeks stay I am considered illegal..WTF? We have created an office to provide more jobs for the Israelis and they give me a hard time.

The most important and sad point of this whole story is that this young lady doesn’t even know her grandfather’s name – never mind his life history and what happened to him around the time Israel was created. And if she does know this and can’t even remember his name – then again I would like to question what she’s projecting when she’s consumed with anger at the ignorance surrounding her in Israel.

That kind of hatred and animosity is not going to help anyone – least of all her people trapped in Gaza. It puts the Israeli’s on the defence. If you want to come to Israel, come with an open heart and mind looking for a positive solution for both sides. Otherwise don’t come at all.

Your money has not been wasted, its been a crucial lesson in how important it is to know who you are and where you come from.

So, having her/his comments about me being a Jewish Maggot are simply not that useful, unless we need to see what bARABie is all about.

Sharon and Hitler for sure, that is what deleting racist insults is? bARABie should study history some.

They were quite courteous about the whole thing, and I do believe that the process is rather arbitrary. My uncle has travelled to Israel on many occasions and has never been taken into a room and questioned.

Now if you really want to be treated like human garbage try travelling to any Arab country on a Watheeqa (Palestinian refugee travel document). So much for Arab brotherhood كله حكي فاضي.
