I told him 'the world is tired of wars my darlings. In the words of a song, Be the love generation. What you sow, so you reap' I have three beautiful sons, all of conscription age and pray they and all others continue to resist war. With no-one to fight for their power and greed, maybe then we can plant a new seed that is love, understanding and peace. My total respect, admiration and support to all you brave shministims. My fast shall be for you, and for those for whom you are also standing- the poor souls in Gaza, trapped and under assault. As they are deprived of food, so shall I be. As they are deprived of basic human rights, so shall I choose not to eat. I wish I could do something more REAL, more urgent, more... well... more.
