Now it appears that Obama is sending Mitchell to Israel.

ALSO…OBama is sending US aid to Fatah in West Bank…continuing the dual divide policy of recognizing Fatah when it suits to show hands on engagement, and Punishing Hamas when it suits other strategic goals.

My question: Hasn’t the PROCESS been GAMED by Israel Here? I mean they knew a peace push will be on under Obama , so why not “degrade” Gaza right before that happens, and then offer doves…in the process, Olmert look good to h is own constituents in the local election, and comes out “ahead”. But so many civilians have died. And 3M has sold so much Phosphorous..I think this may not work…! But we can always hope.

make peace with israel and we will support you.
we wont support more wars, we dont want more wars,
if arabs attack israel we will support Israel ,, if Israel attacks arabs …the way around….
NO MORE WARS …PEACE NOW

The domestic media certainly does very little to cover the situation in a comprehensive way. And both Israel and Palestine have tried to offer strategic views into the tragic nature of their respective positions.
