If one argues for the universality of values such as the freedom of speech and expression, then why not apply this on issues such as “The Holocaust”?

It is for very good, science-based reasons that long term isolation is internationally recognized as torture. Israel is systematically using isolation to psychologically and physically destroy politically active Palestinian prisoners.
One of the long term prisoners, Nabeel Barghouti was imprisoned for 30 years. His wife who was pregnant when he was imprisoned gave birth to a son, Fahdi. At the age of 16 his son decided that the only way to see his father was to become a prisoner. After his arrest and imprisonment he fought for the right to be imprisoned under conditions that made it possible for him to see his father. Incidents like these are not extraordinary, although they are extraordinarily tragic.
It seems Israel is developing a delicate sense for the celebration of genocide. “Bibi, it’s the three year anniversary of our murder of 1.200 Palestinian women and children, lets celebrate.”
The fact that the state of Israel is the first nation world wide, that owes it’s very existence and legitimacy to the United Nations should oblige Israel to strictly uphold any UN General Assembly and UNSC resolution which is not in contradiction to the charter of the UN. The de facto reality meanwhile is, that Israel is condescending, and refusing to accept the legitimacy of one UNSC resolution after the other that is critical of Israel, while at the same time using it’s influence within the USA and EU member states to oppress the natural and human rights of the Palestinian people at the United Nations.
The problem with the argument that the recognition of Israel by the United Nations provides legitimacy for the state of Israel is that the United Nations, by recognizing Israel, contradicted main tenets of it´s own charter. The right of Palestinians, Arab, Muslims, Christians, and Jews alike, was grossly neglected by allowing the establishment of a new state within the territory of another, without at least a referendum. The argument that the State of Israel has achieved legitimacy by being recognized by the United Nations Security Counsel and the United Nations General Assembly is thus at least highly problematic, and most likely legally invalid.
The conflict has been dominated by decades of both low intensity and high intensity conflict. Both sides have used and are making use of what could be generally described as “terrorism”.
Western countries systematically deprived Arab and Palestinians from their humanity to the extent that the suffering of the People of Palestine is not perceived as legitimate suffering, on an equal scale with the suffering of the Jewish people in Europe during World War Two, and the suffering of Israelis who are murdered by Palestinians.
New evidence in the Pan Am 103 bombing over Lockerbie is clearing the name of Abdelbaset Al Megrahi, who was convicted and sentenced during the Camp Zeist Trial. As many intelligence experts have suggested for years, the evidence is leading towards persons in Germany, with ties to the Palestinian Front For the Liberation of Palestine – General Command, PFLP-GC. Why is it, that the new evidence is produced now, at a time, where the USA, EU, and NATO have installed the TNC in Tripoli, and have initiated an armed insurgency into Syria in preparation of NATO´s neo-colonial ambitions in Northern Africa and the Middle East.
