If God himself gave Palestine to the Jews (of yester years, not those of today) wouldn't every Jew immigrate to the Promised Land and fulfill and obey God's command and promise? Obviously not. According to a leading opponent of the nomination, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who appeared on CNN (Jan. 6) explaining his opposition by saying Senator Hagel "is very antagonistic to the State of Israel”. What the Hell? Israel - Senator Hagel is nominated by President Obama for Secretary of Defense of the United States, not Israel.
