Sorry, no good news this week!

Lebanese Journalist, May Shidyak, a television journalist critical of Syria was seriously wounded when a bomb exploded inside her car north of Beirut, security sources and her LBC television station said on Sunday. Shidyak (aka. Chidiac), a Christian news anchor well known in Lebanon, was taken to hospital and was in serious condition.

LBC has confirmed that Doctors had no option but to amputate her left leg and arm because of severe burns.

The blast follows other explosions that have targeted other prominent Lebanese Figures. Hours before the blast, May Chidiac had hosted a morning program on LBC addressing the issue of Syria's Role in the assassination of former Lebanese Premier Rafiq Hariri.
