Whenever Israel’s supporters today speak of a “special relationship” with the US that is supposedly graven in stone, it is useful to remember that something very different existed when Israel came into existence in 1948 on the gutted carcass of Palestine. The US recognized Israel, but that was about it. Hollywood was (and remains) largely a Jewish preserve, but their level of influence elsewhere – in the government, the media and academia – was limited. Prominent American Jews felt no obligation to endorse Israel or Israeli leaders, no matter what happened. Dozens (including Albert Einstein) signed a letter published in the New York Times in 1948 protesting the arrival of Menachem Begin and condemning his actions. And the general American public was largely indifferent to what happened in the Middle East.

Bishop Donald R. Corder: People of Good Conscience
Those who are of good conscience must consider these things, whether they be so. And find for themselves whether wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness or is it better to have a mind positioned in nothingness? Political realities are issues of the heart of leadership and although prayer changes things. Change must begin in our own hearts and wisdom manifests within the spirit of our minds. Where regard is rendered unto knowing that through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: Wherewith, by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. Then, let us all learn from a truth, “Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with the spirit of all wisdom.” From such a place shall we not be made free indeed?

Stephen Lendman: Fascism Wins Big in Israel
Israelis have themselves to blame. They elected Israel’s most extremist government in history. Militarism, belligerence, state-sponsored terrorism, occupation ruthlessness, settlement expansions, and neoliberal harshness reflect official policy.
Peace is a non-starter. A so-called process never existed and doesn’t now. Israel won’t tolerate it. Netanyahu scorns it. He calls it a waste of time.

Joseph Massad: Palestinians, Egyptian Jews and propaganda
Concomitant with these rumours is the Egyptian government’s and the opposition’s race to please the United States and its Zionist lobby. While the very same Issam al-Aryan spoke about the tragedy of the Jewish holocaust while in the US on a Muslim Brotherhood promotional trip in May 2011, the naïve and charisma-less Mohamed el-Baradei upped the ante by telling a German newspaper that elected Salafi and Brotherhood members of parliament should not be trusted to draft the Egyptian constitution because they allegedly deny the holocaust!

Khaled Abu Toameh: Israel’s Palestinian propagandist
Khaled Abu Toameh is symbiotically linked to some of Israel’s and the United States’ most right-wing, anti-Arab and neo-conservative bodies. One of these is The Jerusalem Report, which comes under the corporate umbrella of the Israeli right-wing Jerusalem Post Group.
According to Wikipedia, Abu Toameh is listed as a speaker for the Hasbara Fellowships, an organization that brings students to Israel and trains them to be effective pro-Israel activists on college campuses. The Fellowship in fact brought him to more than a dozen talks at various university campuses.

Richard Falk: Understanding Hamas after Khaled Meshaal’s Gaza speech
Is the true voice of Hamas discernable at this point? There seems to be a sharp contrast between the sweeping language of Meshaal’s words spoken at the anniversary demonstration in Gaza and his far calmer, focused, and accommodating tone in interviews and other statements during the last several years.

Dr. Elias Akleh: American Nuclear Hypocrisy
When it comes to criminal Israel, American nuclear hypocrisy go as far as criminalizing themselves by violating their own American laws to protect and support Israel financially, militarily, and politically.

Arafat’s Body Exhumed
We have evidence and indications that (Arafat) was killed, including remarks by Israeli leaders that they must get rid of Arafat, but we need evidence to submit to the International Criminal Court.

At least Mr Palestine is in good company
Did the KGB – who killed off one of their own ex-agents in just such a way – supply the stuff to Palestinians who hated Yasser Arafat, or to Israelis? Would the Israelis, who of course deny any involvement, try to liquidate the man with poison in order to avoid killing him publicly?

Stephen Lendman: Netanyahu Plans More War
Netanyahu will ignore memorandum of understanding ceasefire terms, maintain Gaza’s siege, manufacture pretexts to eliminate Israeli enemies, and kill Palestinian civilians he calls threats.

Few facts, a lot of racism: Palestine in US media
American media does not only disregard atrocity of Israel bombardment of Gaza, but also promote the theory that identifies “being Muslim” as becoming a terrorist.

Targeting Gaza Civilians: Israel’s Specialty
“Brave” Israeli airmen, soldiers, sailors, and other security force personnel are cowards. They’ve acted lawlessly for decades. Look at Gaza!

Tel Aviv Under Fire
Israel’s naming of the campaign that resulted in the bombing of Tel Aviv is preposterous. Manipulative, self-idolatry act of violence NOT backed by God.

Gaza: Part of a Broader US-NATO-Israel Military Agenda
Is the attack on Gaza a trigger mechanism which could lead to Middle East war? The invasion of Gaza is part of the broader US-NATO-Israel military agenda.

Excuse while I vomit
Israel prime minister’s spokesman, Mark Regev justifications for massacre in Gaza makes Goebbels, the Nazi Germany’s propaganda chief look like an amateur.

Al-Jabari Assassination Opens Israel’s Gate of Hell
Jesus: “Love and you will be loved.” Netanyahu and his assassins forget that also the negative version is valid. Israel’s Gates of Hell have been opened.

Interview with Noam Chomsky about Gaza
Palestinians in Gaza still, you know — fight for their rights, and don’t just succumb. It’s a lesson for people from the West, says Chomsky.

Netanyahu’s Nightmare
“The night Netanyahu won’t forget” and “the astonishment that seized Netanyahu and his advisers this week was absolute” were typical comments. “Spitting on America’s Face,” was the harsher comment of former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who after being acquitted by the court, is becoming increasingly active against Netanyahu.

Obama’s Victory Shocked Israel. Will MOSSAD Assassinate Obama?
Following Obama’s victory, Mossad opened on the same day a recruiting campaign over the internet. Its ads appeared next to pictures illustrating the victory, creating an eerie image. Is Mossad about to gear up sinister old plans for a presidential assassination?
What Is The Real Iranian Threat?
Iran poses a great threat to Zionist terrorist state of Israel. Iran poses even greater threat to the present hegemonic world order controlled by the Western power elite through their financial institutions and the undemocratic United Nation with all its many branches. In the perspective of both Israel and the Western power elite, Iran, as a threat, needs to be weakened and eliminated through regime change, through economic sanctions, through terror attacks, and if need be through war.
Israeli leaders set to repeat historical blunders
Uri Avnery argues that Israel’s Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Ehud Barak, and their sycophantic parrots in the media and the political establishment, are leading Israel to disaster, just as Golda Meir and Moshe Dayan did in 1973, except this time it could be much worse.
AIPAC-Drafted US Aid to Israel Illegal
The U.S.-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act of 2012 forces Americans to fork hard-earned tax dollars over to Israel’s coffers on the pretext that it is in eminent danger. Yet declassified documents reveal that even the current prime minister once worked inside the state’s clandestine nuclear arms smuggling rings. Transferring foreign aid to the Middle East’s sole nuclear weapons state is not just unseemly and unnecessary. It is illegal.
Has David Miliband changed his spots?
With David Miliband heading up foreign policy it was frankly embarrassing to be British. What sort of transformation has the groveller undergone that makes him now worthy of an invitation to MAP? Has he become a new White Knight championing the Palestinian underdog against the evil occupier?
The Murder of Arafat: How the Israeli Quintet Indicted Itself
Historic twists of fate are unpredictable, with many ironic overtones. Maybe, just maybe, the analysis by an Israeli-trained Palestinian attorney together with the clues to be found in Arafat’s dead body will usher in a long-overdue era of Israeli accountability for crimes against the Palestinian people.
CIA, Mossad Intervention in Syria is all about Iran [Podcast]
Eric Margolis, internationally syndicated columnist discusses the conflict in Syria, where Western-backed instigators and a legitimate domestic opposition face off against the Assad regime
9/11: A conspiracy beyond theory
What really happened on 9/11 still hasn’t filtered through the minds of enough of the public. They still believe that Bin Laden was responsible and that the hijackers were Saudis who suddenly came out of a genie bottle as well-trained test pilots.
Conspiracy Theory
The unwillingness or inability to entertain any view of 9/11 different from the official view dooms to impotence many Internet sites that are opposed to the wars and to the rise of the domestic US police state. These sites, for whatever the reasons, accept the government’s explanation of 9/11; yet, they try to oppose the “war on terror” and the police state which are the consequences of accepting the government’s explanation. Trying to oppose the consequences of an event whose explanation you accept is an impossible task.
Is Israel Plotting…or Stumbling toward…Mideast War?
Are the extremist leaders of Israel crazy enough to launch a regional war, using the specter of an eventual Iranian nuclear bomb as the excuse? Perhaps irrational, perhaps just coldly calculating their own personal, short-term interest. The recently retired chief of Mossad has just warned that they may be. But he has been supported by the other top Israeli spy chief (also recently retired and thus free to speak honestly to his country’s people). What do Israel’s intelligence chiefs know or suspect about the private calculations of the extremist (shall we, for simplicity, call them the “Israeli neo-con”???) faction whose bloody flag has brought it into power?
Disappeared on a Ukraine train: Mossad snatches Gaza’s power plant boss
Jonathan Cook reports on the kidnapping of Dirar Abu Sisi, operations manager of Gaza’s only power plant, by Israeli Mossad agents in Ukraine amid deep suspicions of official Ukrainian complicity.
Why Wikileaks Doesn’t Add Up
One out of seven news outlets have noticed, thus far, that Wikileaks seems to have a “soft heart” when it comes to Israel and India. Zbigniew Brzezinski caught on, finally, declaring that Wikileaks is an “intelligence operation” using “pointed” information carefully “seeded” into a combination of minor scandals and chickenfeed.
There is absolutely no question for the press that Wikileaks is totally phony, we all know it, it is blatantly slanted, clearly not only anti-American but aimed at Islam, the easy target of all time. Wikileaks is also trying to be more and more clever about seeming less the Mossad “game theory” construct that we all know it is. The “clever” is fun to watch, more “ham handed” than esoteric.
WikiLeaks: What, really, is the problem?
Some commentators, bloggers and other writers, were quick to jump to the conclusion that the avalanche of documents being released by WikiLeaks is part and parcel of an Israeli/Mossad deception strategy. One implication being that WikiLeaks’ founder, Julian Assange is, knowingly or not, manipulated by Zionism.
On the basis of the first two or three days of the Wikileaked revelations as reported by the mainstream media, in America especially, there most definitely was a case for saying that the agenda best served by the leaked diplomatic cables was that of the Zionist state of Israel, its lobby in America and its many stooges in Congress. The essence of the case was in the message that Iran is the biggest single threat to the peace of the region and the world not only because the Israelis say so but also because Arab leaders agree with them.
WikiLeaks – More Israeli Game Theory Warfare?
Why now? Tel Aviv was feeling pressure to end its six-decade occupation of Palestine. With this release, its foot-dragging on the peace process was displaced with talk of an attack on Iran.
While the U.S. bore the brunt of the damage, the target was global public opinion. To maintain the plausibility of The Clash of Civilizations, a focus must be maintained on Iran as a credible Evil Doer.
Wikileaks and Tel Aviv Connection
Any credible forensics would start by asking: to whose benefit? Then look to means, motive and opportunity plus the presence of stable nation-state intelligence inside the U.S.
Other than Israel, who else is a credible candidate? Notice how quickly Israel’s role in the peace process vanished from the news. Now it’s Iran, Iran and more Iran. To whose benefit?
Tel Aviv knows that the phony intelligence on Iraq leads to those skilled at waging war “by way of deception”-the motto of the Israeli Mossad.
Wikileaks are noteworthy for what’s missing: the absence of any material damaging to Israeli goals.
The parcel bomb plot: Al-Qaeda’s gift to Israel
Ever since an Israeli firm let the Christmas Day crotch bomber “slip through” security at Schiphol Airport without a passport, a few influential voices with close ties to Israel have been instrumental in making Yemen “the new buzzword”.
The US may be walking into a bit of a trap,” warns Gregory Johnsen, a Yemen expert and doctoral candidate at Princeton University’s Department of Near Eastern Studies. Israel must be very grateful indeed for this latest terror scare. If Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula did not exist, they might have to invent it.
Anti-Defamation League Demagoguery and Islamophobia
Police raided its offices, revealing a political spy operation. Files about thousands of Arab Americans and hundreds left-of-center organizations were pilfered. ADL conducted spy operations, infiltrating local law enforcement agencies, bribing police officers, and securing non-public information illegally. Its penchant for spying is now exposed, if not acknowledged, yet so far it’s escaped prosecution and harsh class action suit judgments by admitting no wrongdoing, and agreeing to remove improperly obtained documents from its files.
