Far from “swallowing up” the historic Palestinian city of Nazareth, “Upper Nazareth is a Jewish town and all its symbols are Jewish,” Shimon Gapso, the mayor of Upper Nazareth said. “As long as I hold office, no non-Jewish symbol will be presented in the city.”

Rabbis’ edict bars renting to Arabs

The results were published in the Survey of Palestine. One of the subjects investigated in the Survey of Palestine is land use; specifically, which crops were Palestine’s leading agricultural products at the end of the British Mandate, and whose farms were producing them.
